That really depends on the individual, EVE Frontier offers you the chance to explore a vast universe in your own way. Whether you would like to be a miner, trader or pirate is entirely up to you.
Everyone plays different, in general at this stage of the Alpha it follows the generic path of:
It is rare in starter systems to not meet the requirements for a Minimum Viable System, however in the event you have been extremely unlucky simply right click on your ship and select self-destruct. You will respawn in a new system.
In Alpha stage we expect a wipe every 2-3 months until stable release.
To set at your own network node, right click on it and select "Set as Home".
To set at NPC station, press "C" to bring up character sheet and select set spawn.
For the most part no, we expect EVE Frontier to be designed in a way that the blockchain component is more or less transparent. In terms of running smart assemblies, various generous players have shared sample code which you could copy paste or even directly link to, in the future we will also collect and publish them here on this Wiki.
Congratulations! You have select the full Alpha experience. Please press F12 to submit a ticket and refrain from cursing at the devs!
Not exactly. The main component appears to be stable, however you do get some additional components which may or may not be useful.
What a mouthful. You need a Medium Cutting Laser with one of the T2 lens like Luminalis Mining Lens or Radiantium Mining Lens
First you need to shoot some NPCs, get about 20 Feral Data. Then head to a station and sell them for $LUX. While you're there pick up a Lens-3x. Then come back to base, build yourself a Crude Extractor. Now you find a Rift that is not 0020
, and mine that Fissure (either old or young will work). Final step, refine them Old Crude Matter or Young Crude Matter and you get Salt.
Easy peasy, right?
